Nordic Launch for a Global Smart Cleaning Brand

When Tineco prepared to expand its presence in the Nordic market, the brand needed a local partner to transform an international launch concept into a memorable consumer experience tailored for Finland. WaveCrest was selected to lead the local execution and deliver the launch event in Mall of Tripla, one of Finland’s busiest shopping centers located in Helsinki.
The objective was to increase brand visibility, introduce Tineco’s smart cleaning technology and Wet & Dry vacuum cleaners to Nordic consumers, and drive hands-on engagement through an in-store activation.
Bringing the Brand to Life in a Nordic Retail Environment
Launching a consumer technology brand in a new market requires more than operational event production. It demands local market understanding, agile execution and the ability to create an experience that feels relevant to the target audience.
WaveCrest worked as Tineco’s local activation partner in Finland, managing the production and execution of the launch while adapting the international concept to the Nordic retail landscape.
WaveCrest’s responsibilities included:
- operational event production and onsite management
- providing event hosts and promotional staff
- spatial planning and 3D visualization
- technical production coordination
- photography and video production
- coordination between venue partners and suppliers
The activation was designed to make the products easy to experience in real-life scenarios. Visitors were able to test Tineco Wet & Dry vacuum cleaners firsthand in interactive demo areas built to showcase the practicality and innovation behind Tineco’s technology.
To reflect the brand’s sustainability values, the event included creative activity stations built around reuse and recycling, such as creating artwork using dried plants, decorating phone cases and crafting earrings from recycled plastic bottle materials. The event setup was also planned using rented and reusable elements wherever possible.

Extending the Consumer Experience Beyond the Launch
Following the successful launch event, the collaboration continues through retail-focused promotional activations and in-store product demonstrations across Finland. These activities help strengthen product awareness and bring the brand experience directly into key retail environments.
