Nordic Field Sales Team for Hisense

Nordic Field Sales Team for Hisense

Hisense is one of the fastest-growing brands in consumer electronics and home appliances in the Nordics. Its products are sold through the major electronics chains in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, where the brand competes every day for floor space and the attention of store staff. Strong in-store execution is one of the keys to Hisense’s continued growth in the region.

Since 2025, WaveCrest has run Hisense’s Nordic field sales team, with nine field sales representatives across the four markets. The team makes sure store staff know the products, campaigns are in place and Hisense is presented the way it was agreed with each retailer. WaveCrest fully manages the team, from recruitment and contracts to payroll and expenses. This gives Hisense a dedicated field force without adding to its own headcount or administration. Over time, the partnership has grown to include retail tech and in-store brand activations.

One team, aligned with Hisense’s commercial organization

The field team works closely with Hisense’s sell-out managers, key account managers and product trainers. Hisense’s commercial targets are turned into clear priorities and plans for each market, and campaigns, launches and training are coordinated so that the right knowledge reaches the right people in the stores at the right time. Hisense and WaveCrest share one direction, from the plan in the office to the shelf in the store.

In-store training and campaign execution

Each representative manages their own district and visits stores on a schedule set by each store’s priority. Key stores get monthly visits, while the most remote locations get a few visits a year. During visits, the team runs product training sessions, briefs staff on new Hisense launches and checks that campaigns and product lineups are set up as agreed with each chain. The goal is for store staff to have the product knowledge, brand messaging and selling skills to recommend Hisense to customers with confidence. The work changes from store to store: a quick check-in at one, a full training session at the next and a product display set-up at the third.

Real-time view, data and reporting with SaleMate

The team plans and reports its work in SaleMate, WaveCrest’s own retail software platform. SaleMate brings route planning, in-store reporting and shared dashboards into one system, so every store visit and training session is logged as it happens. For Hisense, this means an up-to-date view of retail execution across all four markets. Insights from stores, chains and the wider market are used to adjust priorities quickly, so that field efforts go where they have the biggest impact on sell-out.
