A Decade of Partnership: Growing Atria’s Sibylla from Local Favorite to Global Brand

WaveCrest has partnered with Atria’s iconic fast-food brand Sibylla for over 10 years to strengthen the brand, modernize its identity and prepare the brand for continued success both in Sweden and on the international stage.

Our collaboration has included multiple projects — from brand strategy and communication platform to design systems, graphic manual, and in-store POS. The original ambition was clear: preserve Sibylla’s strong heritage while equipping the brand with a modern, unified expression that resonates globally. 

Building an International Graphic Identity 

As Sibylla evolved from a small family business into a global player, its visual identity needed to reflect both its Swedish roots and its growing international presence. WaveCrest created a bold, modern design platform with a refreshed color palette and typography that balance tradition with contemporary appeal. 

This new graphic identity strengthens recognition across markets, ensuring Sibylla stands out in competitive environments. By combining heritage with forward-looking design, the brand now has a cohesive, compelling visual presence that speaks to customers worldwide. 

“Butcher’s Plate” – A Concept That Sells 

Beyond the core identity, WaveCrest developed new concepts to fuel growth in-store. One highlight was “Butcher’s Plate”, a premium offer where customers could mix and match from a selection of high-quality sausages and accessories. 

We created the name, logo, graphic symbol, sales materials, and in-store communication to signal quality, spark curiosity, and drive purchase intent. The results spoke for themselves: 7-Eleven not only adopted the concept chain-wide, but also saw sausage sales increase by more than 10%. 

A Brand Ready for the Future 

Through close collaboration, WaveCrest has helped Sibylla sharpen its positioning, unify its identity, and bring new retail concepts to life. Today, Sibylla stands stronger than ever — a Swedish original with a clear, modern expression and the tools to continue its international growth journey.
